Lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus)

Description:  Shiny, trailing foliage with tube like red blooms resembling a miniature tube of lipstick.

Light: Prefers bright, diffuse light. The more light, the better it will bloom.

Water: Soil should be allowed to dry between waterings, but should not stand dry for any length of time.  Water thoroughly when dry and allow any excess water to drain from pot.

Fertilizer: A general purpose, houseplant food should be added to water at every third or fourth watering.
