 Description:  Often feature dark shield like shaped foliage. May be accentuated by heavy white veins running throughout the leaves for a lovely contrast.

Light: Prefers bright, diffuse light.

Water: Soil should be allowed to dry between waterings, but should not stand dry for any length of time.  Water thoroughly when dry and allow any excess water to drain from pot. Perfect plant for high humidity areas, such as kitchens or bathrooms.

Fertilizer: A general purpose houseplant food. Fertilize a couple of times a year during the spring and summer months.
